ABOUT Us
Located at Unit 5 58-60 Melbourne Rd Riverstone, Applause Performing Arts is the premier dance facility in the area; serving Schofields, Vineyard, Angus, Marsden Park, The Ponds, Quakers Hill, Box Hill and surrounding areas. Our three spacious studios offer over 10 different dance styles, including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Pointe, Cheer, and Acrobatics; and cater for all students aged two to adults.
Our classes provide for various ages and abilities, with experienced teachers dedicated to sharing their love of dance, we provide supportive and encouraging dance education in Riverstone!

Miss Bridie
Studio ManagerMiss Bridie is the Studio Manager and Head of Performance here at Applause Performing Arts, playing a pivotal role in both the artistic and operational success of the studio.
Alongside mentoring and inspiring her students within the classroom, she plays a key role in shaping the studio’s creative direction, expertly coordinating and managing the behind-the-scenes planning that brings performances and programs to life.
Her dance journey began at just five years old and has continued with unwavering dedication ever since. Extensively trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics, Acting, and Singing, Miss Bridie holds an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts from ED5 International—one of Australia’s leading full-time performing arts institutions.
With over a decade of industry experience, Miss Bridie is a passionate and highly respected educator who takes immense pride in her students’ growth and achievements.
Specialising in the development and training of Pre-Professional dancers, she brings expertise, energy, and an infectious love of dance to every class she teaches.
Miss Jo
Admin / Customer Service ManagerMeet Jo, the friendly face and the heart of Applause Performing Arts! As our Admin and Customer Service guru, she’s the first point of contact for anyone reaching out to the studio via email or phone. Whether you’re a new student, a parent, or an existing member of the Applause family, Jo’s warm, welcoming attitude ensures everyone feels right at home.
Jo helps keep the studio running smoothly and plays a key role in managing day-to-day operations. On Mondays and Wednesdays, she can be found greeting students and parents at Reception and making sure everything goes off without a hitch. She’s truly the glue that holds the Applause team together, always ready to lend a helping hand and keep the vibe positive and organised! We’re so lucky to have Jo on our team—she’s the one who makes everything a little easier and a lot more fun!

Miss Annabelle
Dance Teacher / AdministrationMiss Annabelle started dancing at the age of 3 and has loved it ever since! She is one of our very own Applause Alumni Students and has trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hop and Acro. She is also a 2025 graduate of Ed5 International, one of Australia's leading performing arts full-time courses, where she earned an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts.
Miss Annabelle's industry credentials include performing in the half-time show for WBBL, The Women's Big Bash League 2024, Premiers Gala Concert 2025 and The Emerald Ball 2025.
Miss Annabelle is a very passionate and creative teacher, filling her classes with her bubbly energy! She loves watching her students improve every single lesson, and can’t wait to keep growing alongside them.

Miss Ilaria
Dance TeacherMiss Ilaria has over 18 years of training in the performing arts, completing an outstanding number of examinations and receiving scholarships from the Royal Academy of Dance, Australian Conservatoire of Ballet, and Glenn Wood Tap. Her extensive training encompasses Ballet, Tap, Traditional and Commercial Jazz, Cabaret, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Latin Ballroom, Musical Theatre, and Acting.
Professionally, Miss Ilaria has performed as a dancer and showgirl with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, dazzling international audiences. Her latest contract in Madrid, saw her performing in Spain’s largest Christmas park, Mágicas Navidades.
Miss Ilaria is a certified Progressing Ballet Technique instructor and is currently advancing her qualifications through the Royal Academy of Dance to obtain her Certificate in Dance Teaching. Miss Ilaria brings six years of teaching experience. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and inspiring the next generation of dancers, fostering technical excellence and a deep love and appreciation for the art form in an uplifting, enthusiastic environment. Guided by the belief, 'you only fail if you don’t try,' Miss Ilaria encourages her students to embrace bravery and resilience—qualities she believes were key to her own success.
Miss Rochelle
Dance TeacherMiss Rochelle is one of our beloved Applause Alumni Students.
She has trained in all styles of dance from a young age and is a 2025 graduate of Brent Street, one of Australia's leading performing arts full-time courses, where she earned an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts.
Miss Rochelle's industry credentials include back up dancing on Australian Idol (2024/2025) and The Voice (2025), Cruise 360 flash mob, “Oh My God” music video for artist Aliya and many more!
We are so thrilled to have Miss Rochelle's modern and industry level choreography and teaching style here at Applause.
Miss Emily
Dance TeacherMiss Emily is a dedicated, passionate, and hard working dance teacher, with more than 12 years of teaching and choreography experience.
Currently, Miss Emily continues to shine in the professional dance world, performing with Black Sapphire Productions and the OC Company.
Miss Emily's dancing journey began at age 6 and she has been dancing for over 25 years.
She is trained in all genres of dance, but here at Applause she is our Acrobatics Specialist, holding a qualification from Acrobatic Arts.
Currently, Miss Emily continues to shine in the professional dance world, performing with Black Sapphire Productions and the OC Company.
Additionally, she completed her second American dance tour in September 2024.
Miss Evie
Dance Teacher / AdministrationMiss Evie is one of our very own Applause Alumni Students and was the recipient of our 2024 Student of the Year award.
She has completed all 6 Levels of DanceStep Training, which gave her the space and knowledge to develop her love and skill of teaching and choreographing.
She played such a pivotal role in our younger students growth and learning as a student teacher, so we are thrilled to be welcoming her into our Applause Team this year as a Teacher and Administrator.
Miss Kate
AdministrationMeet Miss Kate, one of our lovely administration staff. With an infectious smile and kind heart she is always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to any of our Applause students and their families.
She is a proud Applause Alumni member and was the recipient of our Student of the Year Award in 2023.
Miss Keira
AdministrationMiss Keira is one of our Applause Open Dancers and was awarded our 2025 Student of the Year. She is a dedicated student here at Applause where you'll find her training in the studio 3 nights a week.
We are so excited to have her a part of our Administration Team this year and you can find her smiling face behind the desk on Saturday mornings.

Applause Performing Arts would not be what it is today without our beautiful founder and mentor Miss Dana. Her goal was to create a home away from home for her students where they could feel loved and welcomed. Her light and love continues to shine down on all of our students and we are honoured to keep her legacy alive and do her proud each day in our studios.
